Research

Estimation of Psychological State.

test
The IoT, Things are connecting to the Internet, is becoming more accessible. They are used in various places and applications, such as homes, factories, cities, and public transportation. However, many problems remain, such as safety and privacy. My research focuses on how to make the IoT more convenient and familiar to our daily lives. I am considering IoT usage not only in terms of convenience and ease, but also in terms of safety, privacy, and many other aspects. I researched the safety usage of home IoT by modeling users' behaviors in the home and methods of communicating IoT information in consideration of privacy. Recently, I have been trying to make IoT more convenient and safer focusing on psychological models.

Design and control of evolutionary adaptive information networks.

test
Various objects, including IoT, connect to information networks via several protocols, and network demand changes every time. To process the large communication data with minimum computing costs, network resources must be allocated in real time that adapt to the changes. To follow such changes in network demands, I have been researching to leverage the mechanisms by which organisms evolve and adapt to new environments. Recently, I have been trying to achieve network control that can respond to environmental changes quickly by focusing on the mechanisms of gene regulation in organisms.
